Xmas Lunch Day
22 Dec:
Slept only 3 hours, woke up at 6am quickly on my way to Marroitt hotel to collect the Log Cake I ordered for my company Xmas lunch. The lunch was good and happy with the gift exchange. I bought a coffee maker and coffee bean from “Coffee Beans and Tea leave” for the exchange. And up I got back a coffee maker of a different brand and Green Tea leaves. Oh yes haha… I used to drink leaves too, but getting lazy, now use tea bags.
My colleague Pauline specially bought gift for ivy and me. Mine was an usb eye massager! It’s very cute haha…
Was very sleepy at 3pm… trying to stay awake till 5pm haaa…
Then off work to meet up with my poly lecturer and friends. My lecturer started her own learning school opposite bugis. We gather there and had dinner prepared by her maid.
The day ended with Happiness and Merry Xmas heee ;)

Chiang Mai & Bangkok
Day 1 (18 Dec): Chiang Mai
Took air asia from sing to BKK, then transfer to NOK air. Flight was delay for awhile so by the time we reach Chiang Mai is already 7pm. Arrived at Tamarind Village our hotel, was told by the staff that we are been upgraded to their suite. WOW suite leh haha…
After taking pics of the room and happy to see the suite, we took tup tup to the night market. First thing to look for is FOOD, walk through the night market found a place to book our adventure tour for the third day and found a place full of food. We decided to go to this restaurant to eat. We ordered 7 disks and everyone around was looking at our table haha… so much food. The food was nice and CHEAP.
Then we carry on shopping at the night market till around 1am. Took tup tup back to hotel, the driver say he know how to go, but end up he lost his way too…
I was angry that he mention he know how to go, but actually dun know. We asked around, ask a police on the road and even call back hotel. Finally back to hotel 2+am… so tired.
Day 2: Chiang Mai
Slept till 10am faster go for breakfast. Then check out our beautiful suite then go to our day 2 hotel at Mountain View Guest house. Ai yo, it’s a guest house dun expect much ok. Still quite good lah…
Went to Central Airport Plaza to buy tickets for the Ratchaphruek Flora Expo 2006.
This 12 week horticultural show in Chiang Mai is part of year long celebrations honouring His Majesty. It spectacular showcase of tropical flora with 2,200 species and 2.5 million tropical plants from around the world. We were lucky to be within the 12 weeks hehe.
Saw some stuff to buy at the Central Airport Plaza, but will buy them after the Flower visit.
The day ended at the night market again and back hotel around 12am.
Day 3: Chiang Mai
Adventure day. Had our breakfast and waited for the tour guide to come pick us up. On board a pickup with shelter behind and on our way to the mountain. It happens that today is the driver’s birthday, so on our way he requests to visit a temple at his home town. Finally we reach our camp site with elephants walking around. First we took at ride on elephant up hill slope and feeding them with bananas. The ride was fun, but I am scare of height…
Then we board the pickup and drive further up to start our trekking to the waterfall.
Along the way was cliff, rocks and streams. Have to climb rocks, cross streams by bamboos lay across. A lot of balancing… Thanks to the army training haha… Along the way we saw 3 sites for tourist who wants to stay in the mountain and by the stream overnight.
Finally reach the waterfall after about an hour. The water was ice cold. Another group of tourist arrives behind us, there are some kids. The kids quickly change to their swimming attire, but realize the water is too cold quickly changes back their clothing haha…
We took a lot photos then have to trek back to our pickup.
Next drive back to the camp for rafting and bamboo section. On board the rubber boat, our instructor is a playful young guy. We start off ahead are rushing water down the mountain. It was really fun. Then we change to the bamboo raft. A slow flow down the stream. Our butt is on the cold water. Nice and relaxing down stream.
Back to hotel was about 6pm. Took our luggage and head for the night market’s food section. This time we try another restaurant just opposite the one we eaten on day 1. The food was disappointing… not nice and expensive…
Then on our water to the airport head for Bangkok.
Arrive at Bangkok late night. First sms on my phone was notice from air asia that the flight back on the next day to sing was delay by 2 hours. Good that means we can have more time in Bangkok haha…
Took meter taxi to china town, Shang Hai Inn.
The room is nice, very Chinese.
Day 4: Bangkok!
Woke up quite late was very tired after the adventure. Walk along the china town area and realize there are nothing much. On board tup tup to the shopping area!
Arrived at MBK. Went shopping at Discovery Centre, Siam Paragon (Hmmm the Christmas tree is the same as last year…) and Central Plaza (Completed their renovation).
Shop till 6pm then quickly took a taxi ask the driver to bring us to the hotel and also the airport. The traffic was bad… Arrive at Airport we quickly check in (the flight was further delay by 30 mins). Along the way bought Burger King so that we can eat on the flight. Rush all the way to the gate, the staff told us the flight is delayed. Then we decide to go shopping around the airport shops.
Time to board the flight. As there is no sit allocation, we have to queue. Hmm some people cut queue through the young children and elderly gate… When it’s time for us to board, there were this group of Indians each standing at a row of sits to book sit for their relatives… so BAD. We end up sitting near to the back. The flight took off, then the flight attendance announce that it’s not allow to eat outside food on board!!! My BK!!!
Hmmm we have to quickly and not to let them see our food while we eat… but the smell cant be hidden… one of the attendance saw our drink, but he keep quiet.
Finally about the land at Sing. Just after the pilot announces the plane is about the land, someone at the back fainted! The flight attendant quickly help and shouted that there is a doctor on board could you identify yourself. Hmmm for nothing the attendant took off his uniform, but still got a t-shirt on lah. They manage to keep that person breathing. The plane continues proceed with the landing. The attendant began to show an angry face or fastrated face because everyone was looking at the incident. He shouted everyone to fasten their sit belt, hmmm what kind of attitude?
After the plane landed, thought they will carry that person down first, no he still lay on the floor. I got off first. 2 of my friends got off later. They told me the attendant give them the face like they wanted to look at the person fainted so stay behind… there are a couple whose luggage was on the last roll, the attendant angrily past it to them and ask them to go… what a service!!! You think everyone so KPO?!?!

14 Dec: Stay up late till 12.30am so that I could check whether my account blow up!!! Hehe want to check how many months I got for bonus.
Switch on my computer and login into DBS website only to find that they are doing maintanence... What a time to do sure things...
Then I saw phone banking is not affected, hehe quick use my phone to call.
Couldn't believe what i heard over the phone... Hang up and do some calculation, couldn't believe my hear, must be i hear wrongly right...
Call again to confirm hehe...
Didn't sleep the whole night...
Reach office, boss quickly ask one by one to the room to announce the results.
Was really surprise this year is so much!!! I was expecting 4 mths only.
Was happy for awhile...
This is my 2 yrs 5 mths with MIZUHO, I have been doing very good.
I was first employed as a contract of 1 yr.
A month before my contract ended, my lady boss told me to end the contract early as the company want to convert me to a permenant staff.
A year later, I was promoted!!!
Of coz, not everyone is happy for my promotion. They think I only work for 2 yrs, I get to promote?
Boss told me the company will look at the performance and the not the amount of years you been in the company.
This round of apprasal, I continue to do well and got a good rating.
Everyone in my team know about my performance and progress. Do I did that good to get this result? Some might wonder... Bryan work on the dot and leave on the dot!!! Still get sure rating!?!? Not that I sa kar or wat...
During lunch, my colleagues demand a treat from me. I bring them to a nearby eating place and treat them. But they pay back after the meal...
(Everytime I will share my happiness to people around me!
Treated dinner to my group of close friends when I got conversion to perm and promoted the last time.)
Told a few friends about my bonus, but all seems not happy. :(
They will say wah so good ah... then they will compare with themselves i think...
No one, no one seems happy for me...

My July Promotion
Today then I receive this photo taken during the Promotion ceremony. My colleague kept it while I was on leave for ICT few months ago... She forgot about it, only today when she clearing her cabinet then saw it...

Hai... my friends actually planned to go Sentosa on sat, end up 2 of them last min cannot go... Wedding la, work la... Thats it my saturday!!!
Morning woke up still cant get over last night D&D heee... okok i will try post the video it's real funny. (After i get to edit it ok)
Went to cali gym at orchard in the afternoon, then head for SHOPPING!!!
Need to get Xmas gift exchange and to buy somethings for myself hehe...
Hai went I'm alone, I tend to buy things heee.
Off my way to Takashimaya, try to find xmas gift, there is nothing that attracts my eye.
On to Kinokuniya to look for a book, "Dealing with people you can't stand"
(Saw this book sometimes ago at Marina Square Times Bookshop, but they moved the books from the shelf I saw and was told by the staff that there are actually 2 books with same title! So I not sure which one is it...) Kino worst... I found the location of the book on their book search computer, but i went to the shelf, the book is not there?!?! Hai... give up better go look for it in other branch of Times.
Cross over to Lucky Plaza then to Tangs, have got some vouchers for Tangs want to spend them, after some search still nothing to buy...
Move on to Paragon, Ai Yah forgot to go Orchard Popular Bookshop to buy a diary book, lazy to back track la.
Went to Raoul, try my lucky for new shirt hehe... Oh saw the brown shirt I saw few weeks ago, but was not there on my second visit. This time got stock again, but still I find it too informal for office wear...
Went to Metro hehe... so spend my $100 voucher, wow so many people! A 1 day sale is happening. Dash my way in and straight to the mens section, found a Braun Buffel Belt and some inner wear (Inner tshirt la, it's package with 2 ankle socks)
Time to pay for the things, wah long queue leh... when it's my turn, the cashier told me I cant use the voucher for the discount... but can use it if she charge me the actual price, it's a 20% discount storewide! I just want to use the vouchers so I took the actual price. Hee anyway, spend only $17 for those. :)

Then went to Sony Gallery, wanted to test on a mp3 player that design for running NW-S203W want to get this so that I can prepare for next year StandChar Run hee, thinking of getting this as a xmas gift also. Wow the sound is great, even got equaliser settings and it looks cool. Hai... a bit expensive, need to decide for a while again!
Walk my way down to Centre Point to Times Bookshop, same thing saw only that book, almost wanted to buy, but decide to do some research on internet first...
Next stop Plaza Sing, went Carrefour look for those bar type power cord. Office plug not enough liao as I'm working on 2 desktop and 1 laptop...
(Long story, the laptop is use surf net only. As I need to develop a new software on Visual Studio 2005 express, the minimum requirement is win2k sp 4, my old desktop is on sp3, I cant upgrade that as it will affect my existing customer programs if i upgrade, will cause some installation issues. Therefore our IT give me another desktop and bought a switch so that I can use the same LCD, keyboard and mouse for both. But that day I was doing some migration to 2005 express, I have to switch between the 2 pc often, cause me to have headache... So I loan another LCD from IT. Now I'm the most hardworking guy in office, with 3 screens on the desk wow!!! The feeling of my ICT, as we work with 2 screens side by side.)
Ok back to my shopping...
Went to OSIM check out the icare 200 the sales give me a good offer hehe... Original price is $148, he offer me $108. He then told me there is a promotion if buy the icare as the second item at only $98. But I pay $108 is because he added in a shoe sore $10 as my first purchase, then with icare at $98. Great!!! I pay with a $30 OSIM voucher, I pay only $78 haha...
Wow late liao 7+, hungry... Carry so many things where to eat?
Cross over to ParkMall B1 to eat the QQ noodle, one of my nice food list, pls go try! Ooops sorry forgot to take a pic heee.

What a Saturday! Went home to try out my new icare before sleep. As it have got some blue light and make some sound, my dog was very scare hehe... I calm him down and continue with it and fell asleep...

D&D!!! WILD side of me...
As always a very happy night for me at the D&D, always wild haha...
Starting with helping my colleagues doing their hair... Did my first hair rebonding for my colleague, HOT HOT.
Then rush to Marina Mandarin, first thing that excite me is seeing my lady boss dress in korean clothing haha, so cute! (She is the organizer for the event)
Dinner first than first part of Lucky Draw (First the VIP will pick a ticket number, then that person is to go to the laptop and click on a program done by my colleague to know the prize.)
My colleague Allen won the xbox 360!!! Which I helped the company to purchase it at IT Show sometime back. (Hai my lady boss is the organizer mah, so must help her a bit...)
Halfway throught the dinner, then came the most excited show, performance by our Jap colleagues. They performance a dance with the song Bu Pa Bu Pa by Goh Mei Mei (They initially wanted to invite her to come also, but was unsuccessful. They all dress up in school girl uniform haha... can even see their underwear haha...
Laugh all the way throught the performance. The Jap have every year without fail give the best performance.

Then came the 2nd part Lucky Draw. The highlight of the draw is CALCULATOR!!! On the lucky draw system listed 5x Calculator(Was given by customer.)
My male boss and I was so overly excited throught the draw, shout, laugh and hope the person draw gets the calculator haha....
After all the shout and laughter, came a performance by my colleague. Was not expecting much from him as I know he came unprepared even thought he voluntary to perform sing with his guitar. He was all very nervious throughtout the dinner...
Err... cant hear and tell what is he singing, he sit there trying to sing. End up I have to tell my lady boss to get the MC to cut his performance. :(
He was all lost after the performance... poor thing...
As usual the event end up with the Grand Draw!!! LCD TV 32".
Hai... won nothing...
Overall, the D&D was enjoyable. Every year my colleagues will see the crazy of me haha... I really go wild and all out to enjoy myself. Performance was less RA after the incident 2 yrs ago. (That was the best haha...)
Will put up the photos and video(If possible, saw on news today some part-timers took a video after their work in office and post on youtube. Got fired after that!!!)
Starting with helping my colleagues doing their hair... Did my first hair rebonding for my colleague, HOT HOT.
Then rush to Marina Mandarin, first thing that excite me is seeing my lady boss dress in korean clothing haha, so cute! (She is the organizer for the event)
Dinner first than first part of Lucky Draw (First the VIP will pick a ticket number, then that person is to go to the laptop and click on a program done by my colleague to know the prize.)
My colleague Allen won the xbox 360!!! Which I helped the company to purchase it at IT Show sometime back. (Hai my lady boss is the organizer mah, so must help her a bit...)
Halfway throught the dinner, then came the most excited show, performance by our Jap colleagues. They performance a dance with the song Bu Pa Bu Pa by Goh Mei Mei (They initially wanted to invite her to come also, but was unsuccessful. They all dress up in school girl uniform haha... can even see their underwear haha...
Laugh all the way throught the performance. The Jap have every year without fail give the best performance.

Sentosa Beach Hunk!!!
Hai... Finally exams over...
Spend both friday and sat planning for coming holiday trip, was really tired.
Taipei... Japan...
Finally we decided to go Chiang Mai and Bangkok.
Then went gym and did the body analysis by California Fitness, last year I did one, so compare with this year...
I gain 3 kg of Body Fats Mass and overall I improve my fitness by 1 point... Only 1... Must work harder.
Went sentosa beach today, tan for a while and the raining clouds began to come towards us, so we walk further down the beach to avoid the coming rain.
Half way, 2 guys stop us, want us to join the New Year Eve Sentosa Beach Hunk Contest. Haha... cannot lah am I so good? (only gain 1 point leh...) rejected them and left, then one of the guy use his loud speaker say, you guys are HOT!!!
Haaa... was happy that they approach us, that means my ads are working and I'm in good shape haha... ;P

No longer access anywhere anytime...
When HSBC first issue their token, i was so happy...Then today i got another from DBS, have customize my DBS to yellow.
More to come UOB, OCBC and Citibank oh no... (Do I really need so many accounts? A lot money right...)
That mean i can no longer login to my account anywhere anytime, I have to bring the bundle of tokens out everytime. Especially month end, need to transfer money. :(

HAPPY Food!
Went back to work today after a week off for exam...
Quite happy to go back, morning clearing emails and do a bit of things afternoon, nothing to do le haha...
When for a flu injection sponsor by company, have to unbutton my shirt as my shirt is too fitting heee... (Inject on arm la)
Doctor told me i cant go to gym today... sob i brought my gym stuff and have not gym much for this 2 weeks.
CLock hit 5, I still dun feel like going, stayed awhile longer. 6pm I happily walk out office and feeling so happy again never have this feeling haha...
On way home bought more HAPPY food home to stockup for next week study... 2 more paper to go.
Think I eat too much HAPPY food yummy... chocolates...

Finish my second exam paper, went gym after that.
After gym went walking around orchard, suddenly feel so happy seeing all the decor for christmas along orchard road.
